It is the client component of Fortinet’s highly secure, simple to use and administer, and extremely cost effective solution for meeting your strong authentication needs. You will need to use FortiOS or FortiAuthenticator as the back-end validation server.

Requires iOS 9 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Privacy and Control:
FortiToken Mobile cannot change settings on your phone, take pictures or video, record or transmit audio, nor can it read or send emails. Further, it cannot see your browser history, and it requires your permission to send you notifications or to change any settings. And, FortiToken Mobile cannot remotely wipe your phone. Any visibility FortiToken Mobile requires is to verify your OS version to determine app version compatibility. Sensitive information, such as Email Address or Token seeds may be entered during manual installation of FortiToken tokens, 3rd Party tokens, and Token Transfer.

While FortiToken Mobile cannot change any settings without your permission, the following permissions are relevant to FortiToken Mobile operations:

• Access to the Internet for communication to activate tokens and receive push notifications
• "Send Feedback by Email", to automatically populate the "Sender" field
• Internally share files between applications to prepare an attachment to be sent by email for "Send Feedback by Email"
• FortiToken must keep the phone awake while it is upgrading the internal database to avoid data corruption.

By downloading and Installing FortiToken Mobile, I agree with all terms stated above.

Pros and cons of FortiToken Mobile app for iPhone and iPad

FortiToken Mobile app good for

Its very good app but in my opinion it needs support for TouchID. Is it possible to add this feature?
Just works, is reasonably easy to set up. It would be nice if the QR code reader could tap into the email client and see the png file. Otherwise you have to be sitting at work to provision. But it works great and is an excellent two factor authentication solution.
It works. I cant say anything more than that. It is easy to read, and it beats having to carry around a fob. One less piece of gear to forget or misplace.
Installed the token app on my iPhone 6 Plus. Scanned the bar code and all works... Way easy.
New version allows you to see multiple tokens on the screen. Only 4 stars bc I keep getting a warning popup since i changed phones: If you are attempting to restore FortiToken on a new device, for your protection you must delete and reinstall tokens I deleted and reinstalled my tokens and they are working well. Now pls make this annoying popup go away.
With now being able to have more then one token on the screen it makes my job slightly easier.

Some bad moments

Product does not work with 5.2 FortiOS and IOS 8. Caution. You will get locked out and not get back in if you have this enabled. Setup backup admin account without 2 factor before testing.
This app has one job - store and manage a token. Upgraded to iOS 7 and my token was deleted. Upgraded app for iOS 7 compatibility and my token was deleted again. Use google authenticate unless you need this for work.
After 5 months of being available as a beta and having been released publicly more than 6 weeks ago this app does still not work with iOS 8. Support says they have no planned release date for an update. Go figure why I am paying money for support, maintenance and the tokens themselves. There were no such issues with all the other two factor token apps used by Google, Amazon Facebook and others.
Works great with iOS 8, not sure what other reviewers problem is. Works great for me, awesome tool!
App - does not crash but does not access camera to scan QR Code - instead I get a black square - tried uninstalling and installing again - the app does not ask for permission to use the camera - so you have to go find the app under settings and enable ACCESS TO CAMERA - works fine from there.
App broken wont activate says Json error mobile hash Id when scanning or enter codes manually pointless app for now
